To open the frozen door, you will first need to obtain a frozen key. This key has been divided into four parts, with the four existing factions each guarding one of those parts. Given that they have sensed Nex’s reawakening, you might find them more willing to drop their part of the key, and with it pass to you the responsibility of keeping Nex contained.
Only the most dedicated followers of Armadyl, Bandos, Saradomin and Zamorak were entrusted with a key part, so you will need to access each faction’s stronghold (not the boss room) and defeat them for the drop. As such, the requirements to get all four key parts are 70 Agility, Constitution, Strength and Ranged. Once reformed, the frozen key has five charges before stuffing it in the frozen door will destroy it, but this can be prevented if you have a repair stand in your player-owned house and at least 50,000 spare coins.
players will find themselves in Lumbridge, in the southern part of Misthalin. It’s a good idea to get your bearings in Lumbridge before heading off into the wider lands. The people here are friendly and willing to help, the enemies are common but relatively weak, and there’s plenty to do and train your skills on. From here you can start to improve on those skills; visit the shops, windmill and castle; kill some goblins or start a quest.
The shops in Lumbridge give free items – a sample of what the shops have for sale. There is a limit to the number of times you can receive these free items in a short period, but they are useful for replacing the odd fishing rod or pickaxe that has been lost.It is also not a bad idea to talk to the Lumbridge Sage, who can give you some useful information about the history of Lumbridge, or directions if needed. He is located just outside the Chapel, in front of the castle.
